From the app
This is the fastest route. In the passenger app, open Account, scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account. In the Sura Driver app it is under Account settings, at the bottom. The app checks first whether deletion can go ahead and tells you plainly if something is in the way — a trip in progress, a wallet balance, commission still owed — so you are never asked to confirm something that was never going to work.
From this website
If you have already uninstalled the app, go to surarider.com/delete-account and sign in with your phone number. That page also explains everything below, and you can read it without signing in or installing anything. Passenger accounts can be deleted there directly; driver accounts are deleted from the Sura Driver app or by email, because a driver account carries documents and payout records that need the same checks.
By email, if you cannot get in at all
Write to [email protected] from the email address on your account, or include your registered phone number. We confirm the request genuinely belongs to you before erasing anything — that check is the reason this route takes longer than the other two — and we complete it within 30 days.
What is erased, and what is kept
Erased: your name, phone number and email; your profile photo and saved places; your trip and parcel history; any scheduled rides; your push-notification token; and for drivers your licence and ID documents, vehicle details and verification history. Kept, but with your name and phone number removed so they no longer identify you: records of completed payments and fares, driver commission and payout records, and support tickets. Financial records are required by law and are held in a ledger that cannot be altered after the fact, which is why they cannot simply be deleted.
Before you go
Deleting your account does not refund a Sura wallet balance and does not cancel money you owe, so settle either one first — the app tells you before it lets you continue. Signing out is not deletion; it only ends the session on that device and everything is still there when you sign back in. The account deletion page carries the current timing and the recovery window, and it is the page to check if you change your mind.
