Cookie policy

This site uses one cookie, and only to keep you signed in. There is no analytics, no advertising and no third-party tracking on surarider.com — which is also why you will never see a cookie consent banner here. A strictly-necessary sign-in cookie does not need your consent, and asking for it would imply we set things we do not.
1. The one cookie we set
Name: sura_session
What it holds: your sign-in token, so the site knows you are you as you move between pages.
Who can read it: only our server. It is set httpOnly, so no JavaScript in your browser — ours or anyone else's — can read it. That is deliberate: it is what stops a script injected into a page from stealing your session.
How long it lasts: 30 days, or until you sign out, whichever comes first. Signing out deletes it immediately.
Why it is strictly necessary: without it, signing in would not survive a single page change.
2. What we do not use
- No analytics or measurement cookies.
- No advertising or retargeting pixels.
- No third-party trackers, social widgets or embedded content that sets cookies.
- No cross-site profiling of any kind.
The apps are separate from this website and are covered by the Privacy Policy and the Data safety page. Neither app collects an advertising ID.
3. Controlling it
You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings at any time. Blocking sura_session will not break the public pages — you can read everything here without signing in — but you will not be able to stay signed in to your account, book a trip, or delete your account from the website. Both remain available in the app.
Signing out is the simplest way to remove it: it deletes the cookie there and then.
4. Changes
If we ever add a cookie, this page changes before it ships, and the date at the top tells you when it was last revised. If a future cookie needs your consent, we will ask for it properly rather than assume it.
